First Republic Bank: Website Design, Development, Production, and Ongoing Website Maintenance Services

Project Scope

First Republic Bank is a service-oriented, financially strong and stable bank. First Republic's customers enjoy a level of personal service that comes from doing business with a company with a strong capital foundation, a long history of profitable performance, and a client-driven service culture.

The bank has committed to providing their products through the most convenient channels available. For that reason, they chose us to design, construct, and maintain a completely new website and the underlying tools that make it work.

Design Criteria

First Republic Bank specializes in such services as luxury home loans and high net worth personal banking. Their site needed to reflect the financial strength and service orientation that such a bank can offer its customers.

We needed to design a site that could preserve a strong "banking" identity while modernizing the look for the Web. The challenge for our designers was to infuse the site with a luxurious, clean design and unobtrusive technical features that make the site functional and appealing while not getting in the way of the Bank's message.

Implementation

At First Republic's request, we migrated some features of the Bank's old ColdFusion-based site to an ASP-based version while adding many other new tools and administrative features. The design utilizes strong banking visual elements, including rich colors, friendly imagery, and tab navigation.

Ongoing Website Maintenance Services

After the site launch, First Republic signed on for Collaborint's Website Maintenance service and now takes advantage of this unique offering to quickly and easily keep the site in tip-top shape.
